Dennis Lau, a Hong Kong-born tenor, studied voice with Italian soprano Isabel Gentile and baritone Roberto Abbodanza. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) in music, he then furthered his study in chamber singing at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali "G. Briccialdi" of Terni, Italy. Since he graduated, he has performed different roles in numerous opera productions, namely Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore, Sesto in Handel’s Giulio Cesare, Tito in La Clemenza di Tito, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Podestà in La Finta Giardiniera, Fracasso in La Finta Semplice, and Ferrando in Così fan tutte by Mozart, Le Remendao in Bizet’s Carmen, Hervey in Donizetti’s Anna Bolena, etc. He has been invited to sing as a soloist in many concerts, including Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Bruckner’s Te Deum, Haydn’s The Creation, Schubert’s Mass in A-flat major, and Mendelssohn’s Elijah in semi-staged opera form.

Apart from singing, Dennis is also very active in choral activities; he is the conductor for Wah Yan College, Kowloon Old Boys’ Choir, Pun U Association Wah Yan Primary School, Marymount Secondary School and Fukien Secondary School (Siu Sai Wan). He is currently the Music Director of The Hong Kong Women’s Choir and Choral Director of Shaw College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

香港本土男高音劉礎恆，師隨意大利華裔女高音易曼君和意大利男中音艾邦洛。他於香港大學音樂系畢業後隨即前往意大利特爾尼音樂學院進修聲樂。劉氏曾演出多套歌劇，包括唐尼采蒂《愛情靈藥》的奈莫利諾、《英宮遺恨》的哈維、韓德爾《凱撒大帝》的塞斯托、莫扎特《狄托的仁慈》的狄托、《唐璜》的奧他維歐、《假園丁》的市長、《喜臨門》的法卡索、《女人皆如是》的費蘭度及比才《卡門》的雷門達多等。他曾受邀於不少音樂會中擔任獨唱，當中包括貝多芬《第九交響曲》、布魯克納的《謝恩讚美歌》、海頓的《創世紀》、舒伯特的《降A大調彌撒曲》和以歌劇形式演繹孟德爾遜的《以利亞》。

除了唱歌演出外，劉氏亦擔任多個合唱團的指揮及聲樂導師，包括九龍華仁書院舊生合唱團、番禺會所華仁小學合唱團、瑪利曼中學合唱團及福建中學（小西灣）合唱團。他現為香港女子合唱團的音樂總監及香港中文大學逸夫書院合唱團指揮。
