The language of emotions
You don’t need to understand the words of a song to feel the melody or share in the emotion, and that's the same with our operas.
Operatic singing embraces joy, sadness, fear, anger, betrayal, compassion and love. We like to explore all human emotions and that’s why the experience is so memorable and so powerfully human.
Through passionate vocals and a live orchestra, the music reaches deep within you: touching your heart, then your mind, then your whole being.
In fact we are so keen to help you hear opera with your whole being that from time to time we present special shows where we encourage the audience to sleep through it! Truly - we invite you to lay down, close your eyes and just relax while the music washes through you.

Artistic Director Jessica Ng.
An experienced Soprano and founder of Opera Box, Jessica's passion is putting opera at the heart of magical theatrical experiences - always surprising, always delighting.
That’s right, these are our special productions created for those aged from 3 months to 3 years (and their parents of course!). We call it O!Blox.
The joy of being able to experience opera with every cell of our bodies means that even babies can enjoy the wonderful feeling that it brings. And it’s not just a wonderful feeling, opera is also proven to be healthy and healing for the human body!
